Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking Front-End Drivers to operate front-end trucks on multiple residential and commercial routes, collecting waste and recyclables and transferring loads to designated facilities.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of commercial driving experience (or a CDL school certificate), and a commitment to safety. Duties include pre/post-trip inspections, customer interactions, and maintaining logs for compliance.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and transport to facilities.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; complete vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; notify supervisor of issues.
• Maintain logs and reports as required by law or policy.
• Follow safety practices and company rules for vehicle operation.
