Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks on multi-family and commercial routes, collecting waste and recyclables under contract terms.

You will navigate to service addresses, load materials, and transfer to appropriate facilities. The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of truck driving experience or CDL school completion, and the ability to perform safety inspections and daily logs.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school completion.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive and operate front-end equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-load or ancillary equipment along routes to collect waste.
• Open container enclosures and roll 3-4 yard cans for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition report.
• Interact courteously with customers and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness around truck and dumping area.
• Submit logs and vehicle condition reports as required by law.
• Use maps and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follow all safety standards and company policies.
