Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking Front-End Drivers to operate front-end trucks visiting multiple residential and commercial routes, collecting waste or recyclables and transporting to disposal or transfer stations.

You will service customers along your assigned routes, inspect the vehicle daily, and report any issues to supervision. The role requires a valid CDL and at least one year of driving experience or CDL training; you must drive safely, follow all safety rules, maintain logs, and

Qualifications

Valid CDL is required.
At least 1 year of commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria.
Ability to operate truck and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

Drive frontload/ancillary trucks on designated routes to collect waste/recyclables.
Open containers, move cans as needed and dump.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; file vehicle reports.
Interact courteously with customers; notify supervisor of issues.
Keep site clean and safety compliant around dumping operations.
Maintain route logs and vehicle condition reports as required by law or policy.
Back up and park in tight spaces using mirrors.
Use map and GPS to locate service addresses.
Follow all safety standards and company rules on vehicle operation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
