Job summary

GFL is hiring Front-End Drivers to operate front-end trucks on multi-family and commercial routes, transporting waste and recyclables to designated facilities. You will follow routes, inspect vehicles, and engage with customers along the way.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid CDL.
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Must be able to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive frontload or ancillary equipment along routes to collect waste and transport to post-collection facilities.
• Open container enclosures and reposition cans as needed for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public and report issues to management.
• Maintain site cleanliness around truck during dumping and ensure safety.
