Sam’s Club in Ankeny, IA is seeking a full-time supervisor to assist management with daily operations and member service. The role involves supervising associates, assigning duties, and training on processes to ensure excellent member experiences.

You will support membership growth, guide purchases, and oversee merchandise flow, while ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting Walmart’s values and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment and 6 months customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: leading a front-end team with hiring, evaluating, mentoring and managing workload.

Responsibilities

• Assists management with supervision of associates by assigning duties, providing direction, and training on processes to ensure member service goals are met.
• Communicates and supports membership by processing memberships, upgrades, and account questions; promotes Sams Club benefits.
• Provides member service by assisting with purchases, guiding self-checkout, and fulfilling club pickup orders.
• Oversees area by handling claims, organizing merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness and availability of carts.
• Completes accounting records and cash handling tasks, including deposits and variance investigations.
• Develops processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers and other partners and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Adheres to policies and Open Door Policy; assists management with addressing ethics and compliance issues.
• Leads and participates in teams, allocating resources and ensuring timely, quality work while adapting to change.
• Fosters teamwork and a culture of belonging; supports development and recognition of associates.
• Acts with integrity, supports Walmart values, and promotes a positive work environment.
• Delivers customer-focused results and makes data-driven decisions.
