Job summary

Sam's Club in Dubuque, IA is seeking an associate to assist management in supervising the front-end team and delivering member service excellence. You will help assign duties, train colleagues, and ensure policies are followed while promoting memberships and resolving member issues.

You'll support transactions, returns, and merchandising, while contributing to store operations, scheduling, and a culture of teamwork and integrity in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment and 6 months customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with supervision of associates by assigning duties and providing direction.
• Communicate goals and feedback and train associates on procedures.
• Provide member service guidance and resolve member issues per company guidelines.
• Promote membership programs and process memberships/upgrades.
• Assist with cashiering, transactions, and self-checkout support.
• Oversee area operations, handle claims/returns, and maintain merchandising.
• Complete accounting records and prepare deposits as required.
• Lead teams, share resources, and drive continuous improvement.
