Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and ensure exceptional customer service. You will mentor Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks, manage breaks, assist with hiring and training, and help maintain store cleanliness and security.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience plus leadership exposure
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong customer service skills
• Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner)
• Good communication skills; adaptable to feedback and teamwork
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, and stay organized
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and move carts as needed
• Past experience in pacey retail environments is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and mentor Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks
• Assist customers at the register and resolve issues promptly
• Oversee store sweeps, ensure cash register supplies and cleanliness
• Monitor security/exit doors and support loss prevention
• Schedule and supervise breaks per policy and state requirements
• Assist in hiring/training Cashiers and disciplinary actions when required
