Job summary

Homeland is seeking an Assistant Front-End Manager to greet customers, answer questions, and uphold store policies with courtesy. You will help hire, train, schedule, and evaluate front-end staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will oversee checkout, cash handling, and risk prevention, monitor service levels, and coordinate with the Store Manager to maintain safety and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous cashier experience helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet/supervise the greeting of customers and respond to questions/requests/complaints in a courteous manner.
• Assist in hiring, disciplining, promoting, and evaluating front-end personnel; orient/train new associates and retrain as needed.
• Develop weekly labor schedules with store manager approval for front-end staff.
