Responsibilities

• Greet and supervise customers, respond to questions and explain store policies.
• Initiate and/or make recommendations on hiring, discipline, promotion, and evaluation of front-end staff.
• Develop weekly labor schedules for front-end employees.
• Ensure safety of staff and customers by following store rules and reporting hazards.
• Supervise checkout and ensure proper bagging of purchases.
• Oversee cash handling, refunds, and voids with accuracy.
• Maintain open express lanes and assist in staffing as needed.
• Ensure opening/closing store accounting procedures are followed.
• Keep front-end teams informed about new produce items, policies, and procedures.
