Job summary

Burlington Stores in Onalaska is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor / Selling Floor Supervisor to lead front-end operations and store activities with a focus on training, coaching, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail environment, the ability to work a full-time schedule including nights and weekends, and physical capability to lift merchandise up to 40 lbs. Growth opportunities and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move, lift, and handle merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more; stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales through training, coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety by adhering to company guidelines and procedures.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Resolve issues with customers and associates to provide exceptional service.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to prevent losses.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support community relations through company programs.
