Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is hiring for a Key Carrier to direct front-end staff and operations in the absence of the Assistant Center Store Manager. You will ensure optimal customer service, productivity, and compliance, while supervising front-end associates and training them to reflect our mission and winning behaviors.

Responsibilities include monitoring front-end performance, managing cash handling, and maintaining store and parking lot conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write to accurately complete all documentation.
• Knowledge of Front-end operations and check stand procedures.
• Knowledge of compliance and basic applicable contract/work rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a remarkable shopping experience by demonstrating, training, and holding store associates accountable for excellent customer service.
• Manage front-end performance and productivity (tills, cash handling, WIC/EBT compliance, receipts).
• Direct Clerks and Clerk Helpers with focus on accountability and business performance in assigned area.
• Ensure front-end and parking lot conditions are met (merchandising, cleanliness, carts, bags).
• Perform store balancing and front-end management functions (refunds/returns, loans/pick-ups).
• Monitor customer experience on front-end and assist in coverage during absence of management.
