The Save Mart Companies in Fremont, CA is seeking a Key Carrier Specialist to direct front-end staff and manage operations in the absence of the Assistant Center Store Manager. You will oversee cash handling, customer service, and front-end performance to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Responsibilities include leading clerks, maintaining front-end and parking lot standards, and balancing store activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to train staff and supervise teams.
• Good counting and math skills.
• Knowledge of front-end operations and check stand procedures.
• Familiarity with compliance and basic contract/work rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a remarkable shopping experience by training and holding associates accountable for excellent service.
• Manage front-end performance and productivity (tills, cash handling, and compliance).
• Direct Clerks and Clerks' Helpers toward accountability and strong business performance.
• Ensure front-end and parking lot conditions meet standards.
• Perform store balancing to enhance the shopping experience.
• Handle refunds/returns, loans/pick-ups, and check authorizations on the front-end.
• Monitor customer experience on the front-end.
• Occasionally oversee total store operations in the absence of management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
