Job summary

Kroger Co. is seeking a Store Management/Front End Department Leader in Mesa, AZ. You will drive exceptional customer service, maintain a safe, clean environment, and push front-end performance to meet sales and profit goals.

You will supervise all front-end operations, execute best practices, and lead a team to uphold Kroger legacy of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity and safety in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math including counting and basic calculations.
• Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining service standards.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Second language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate department and job information to associates.
• Collaborate with associates to achieve store goals.
• Create welcoming environment and answer product questions for customers.
• Monitor and control department supply expenses.
• Manage cash control, sales and cash records for the store.
• Schedule front-end associates for adequate department coverage.
• Assist in budget, P&L reviews, and action on financial reports.
