Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a Front-end Supervisor to lead the department and deliver exceptional customer service in our Tucson store. You will support management in achieving sales and profit goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include supervising front-end duties, scheduling staff, managing cash and budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and food safety regulations. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Ability to handle stressful situations.
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
Retail or Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

Promote trust and respect among associates.
Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
Assist with monitoring and control of department supply expenses.
Assist with managing cash control, sales and cash records for the store.
Schedule Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage.
Assist in preparing the department budget, P&L reviews, and action on financial reports.
Collaborate with Front-end associates and promote teamwork.
