Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Store Management/Front End Department Leader to drive exceptional customer service and front-end performance in an on-site role.

You will supervise all front-end functions, manage scheduling and budgets, and lead associates to achieve department goals while upholding our values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Ability to stay calm and composed in pressure situations.
• Experience in retail or customer service environments is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Second language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate department objectives and store information to staff.
• Collaborate with team to achieve store goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Oversee front-end operations and supervise daily activities across the department.
• Schedule front-end associates and manage budget, losses and inventory.
• Ensure food safety, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies.
