Ingles Markets is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead the front-end operations and uphold high standards of customer service at the Etowah store. You will supervise front-end activities and coordinate scheduling, transactions, and daily store procedures.

The role requires strong customer service experience, cashier/front-end background, adaptability under pressure, and a team-driven mindset in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Previous cashier or front-end experience is required.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing needs during high volume or stress.
• Ability to read and perform simple math.
• Wants to be part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting cashiers promptly.
• Ensure proper bagging procedures and carryout service for purchases.
• Open additional registers during high volume to minimize wait times.
• Create and enforce work schedules for front-end personnel.
• Assist with various sales transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Process Western Union and Money Order transactions.
• Keep management informed of pricing issues and POS problems.
• Handle refunds, overrides, and cash adjustments as needed.
• Enforce dress code and monitor breaks per guidelines.
• Ensure proper handling of perishables and return-to-stock items.
