Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Salt Lake City is seeking a front end professional to ensure smooth operation and exceptional customer service at the front of the store. You will train and mentor front end associates, assist with checking and bagging, and promote the Foodie Club Card.

You’ll manage refunds, exchanges, and customer complaints while ensuring proper front end coverage and accurate till balances throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Basic math and 10-key skills required for making change.
• Ability to interpret store policies and procedures.
• Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and conflict resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow department and store policies; maintain front end cleanliness.
• Stock check stands with bags and supplies; assign stands to staff.
• Ensure coverage, breaks, and store opening/closing procedures.
• Promote the Foodie Club Card and encourage its use by customers.
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and customer complaints with professionalism.
• Audit tills and ensure accurate cash handling and balanced tills.
• Train and mentor front end associates; provide feedback on performance.
