Job summary

Metro Market is seeking a Front End Operations support role in Wisconsin to oversee daily front-end operations, policies, and procedures, aligning with Kroger family values of respect, integrity and safety.

The role emphasizes improving processes, training supervisors, and maintaining a clean, efficient customer service environment across checkout stands, Self Service, and related areas. Flexibility for varied shifts and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Store retail experience with emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
• Ability to multi task and handle large workloads.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of all key components of department operations (managing people, merchandising, inventory, shrink, labor scheduling, expenses).
• Past work record must exhibit integrity and dependability.
• Willing and available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings or nights; weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop more effective and efficient processes for Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service and Accounting.
• Ensure safe, effective and efficient customer service is provided throughout department.
• Improve Shopping Experience Progress Report, Customer Tracker, Associate Tracker, Cash Over/Short, CCG, ELMS utilization, Customer Comment Cards, FES Evaluations, Bob Audits, and Key Retailing Measurements.
• Provide training, support and follow up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Coach and train customer service manager and front end supervisors.
• Promote, communicate and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive manner.
• Support store management and customer service manager in maintaining a well-organized, clean shopping environment at the check stands, front-end, Self Service Checkouts, Customer Service Center, Accounting Room and parking lot.
• Follow through on special assignments and perform any and all duties as assigned.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
