Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Front End Operations role focused on day-to-day support of Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting operations. The role emphasizes upholding core values and driving process improvements, training, and coaching teams across the department.

Responsibilities include refining processes, maintaining a clean and efficient shopping environment, and supporting management to deliver consistent customer service.

Qualifications

• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as the work demands.
• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed (emphasis on Prime Time)
• Store retail experience with emphasis on customer service and front-end operations
• Ability to multi task and handle large workloads
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to learn a wide range of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACE, Supersked
• Understanding of all key components of department operations (managing people, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, expense control)
• Past work record must exhibit integrity and dependability
• Thorough experience in customer service and all phases of front-end operations

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop more effective and efficient processes for Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End and related areas.
• Ensure safe and efficient customer service is provided throughout department.
• Improve various performance reports and customer feedback tools.
• Provide training and support on Key Retailing aspects.
• Coach and train customer service managers and front end supervisors.
• Promote company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports.
• Support store management in maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment.
• Follow through on special assignments and perform duties as assigned.
• Perform essential functions of this position with or without accommodation
