Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Manager in Huntersville, NC to lead store operations, including Service Center, Self-Checkout and To-Go, while coaching associates to deliver outstanding customer service. This role drives sales and ensures compliance with safety and company standards.

The candidate will hire and train team members, manage performance, and maintain strong communications with the management team to meet financial goals and enhance the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated good judgment in solving problems and handling complaints.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for specific functions.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position; accommodations available.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Front End operations including Service Center, Self-Checkout and Food Lion To-Go.
• Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs.
• Supervise performance and conduct timely performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Food Lion Brand and Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financials, operating results and KPIs.
• Maintain a positive, customer-focused environment and ensure a great shopping experience.
