Job summary

Food Lion in Elkin, NC is seeking a Front End Supervisor to support store operations and drive sales. You will lead the Front End team, ensure excellent customer service, and manage schedules, training, and performance of front-end associates.

You will work with store leadership to meet budgeted goals, safeguard assets, and maintain store appearance and safety standards while leveraging Food Lion tools and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated good judgment in solving problems and resolving conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Front End operations including Service Center, Self-Checkout and Food Lion To-Go, if applicable.
• Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs.
• Supervise duties of department associates and conduct performance appraisals.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture reflective of Food Lion Brand and Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financials, operating results and KPIs.
• Ensure customer service is fast, easy, and friendly while maintaining a positive shopping experience.
