Job summary

Food Lion in Concord, NC is seeking a Front End Manager to lead all front-end operations, including Service Center, Self-Checkout and To-Go. You will hire and develop the front-line team, schedule staff, and ensure outstanding customer service while maintaining brand standards.

The role emphasizes financial discipline, KPI achievement, safety, and a positive shopping experience. You will partner with store leadership to drive sales, control costs, and uphold Food Lion's culture and policies

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lead and manage a team.
Strong understanding of store operations.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Willingness to learn multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Must meet physical requirements of the job.
Certified Food Safety Manager or able to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Manage all Front End operations including Service Center, Self-Checkout and To-Go.
Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs.
Supervise duties and conduct performance appraisals for direct reports.
Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Food Lion's Brand and Strategy.
Support budgeted financials, operating results and KPIs.
Maintain a customer-focused, positive shopping environment.
Ensure front-end schedules are written per standards.
Monitor inventory and prevent losses with coaching.
Ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
