Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Supervisor to support store operations and drive performance in Conway, SC. You will lead service center and checkout operations, hire and develop associates, and ensure service quality aligns with our brand and customer expectations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and adherence to safety and operational standards to deliver a positive shopping experience for customers and achieve store goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated good judgment in solving problems and handling complaints.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and pass training for certification where needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Front End operations including Service Center, Self-Checkout and Food Lion To-Go where applicable.
• Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs.
• Supervise performance and provide ongoing coaching and formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Food Lion Brand, Strategy and Culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financials, operating results and KPIs.
• Maintain an enthusiastic customer service atmosphere and a positive shopping experience.
