Job summary

The Kroger family of companies is seeking a Front End Operations role to support day-to-day department functions, policies and customer service excellence at the Antigo location.

Responsibilities include optimizing processes, training staff, and maintaining a clean, safe shopping environment across front end areas. Strong multitasking and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as the work demands.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed (Prime Time).
• Store retail experience with emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
• Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn a wide range of computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACE, Supersked.
• Understanding of all key components of department operations (managing people, merchandising, inventory, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, expense control).
• Past work record must exhibit integrity and dependability.
• Thorough experience in customer service and front-end operations.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop more effective and efficient processes for Front End, Customer Service Center and Accounting.
• Design a cleaner, more efficient working environment for Front End, Customer Service and Accounting.
• Ensure safe, effective and efficient customer service throughout the department.
• Improve various performance trackers and evaluations across the front end and related areas.
• Provide training and follow-up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Coach and train customer service managers and front end supervisors.
• Promote and implement company initiatives and process improvements with direct reports.
• Support store and customer service management in maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment at check stands and related areas.
• Follow through on special assignments and perform any duties as assigned.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
