Job summary

Metro Market in Monona, Wisconsin is seeking a Front End Department Support specialist to help run day-to-day operations, improve processes, and uphold our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

You will work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, providing excellent customer service, handling multiple tasks, and training front-end staff to maintain a clean, efficient shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Store retail experience with emphasis on customer service and front-end operations.
• Willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to handle large workloads.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Integrity and dependability.
• Understanding of department operations (people mgmt, merchandising, inventory, shrink, scheduling, expenses).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support of Front End department operations.
• Support training and follow-up on all aspects of Key Retailing.
• Coach and train front end supervisors.
• Promote company initiatives and process improvements to reports.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized shopping environment at check stands and front end areas.
• Assist in special assignments as needed.
