Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help manage daily store operations, assist customers, and support front-end duties as needed. The role emphasizes a clean, inviting shopping environment and cross-training to cover cash register tasks.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, be reliable, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. The position includes merchandising, stocking, and maintaining store safety and integrity while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely and according to productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
