Job summary

JobTarget, LLC is seeking a Front End Manager (FEM) in Indianapolis to lead the front end team, oversee cash registers, service desk, and layaway, and maintain front end standards.

You will schedule staffing within payroll budgets, ensure fast and friendly checkout, monitor cashier performance, and uphold company policies while delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires a high energy, hands-on leader with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-2 years experience managing a front end team in a high volume retail environment.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Partners with admin and store manager in hiring front end team members.
• Work with store manager to schedule to business needs without overspending payroll.
• Be completely responsible for a fast and friendly checkout experience (no more than 3 in line).
• Maintain front end visibility and monitor cashiers performance.
• Review reports daily/weekly and escalate issues to Store Manager and Loss Prevention.
• Conduct morning JUICE meetings reviewing sales results, line control, cash management.
• Ensure flawless execution of company initiatives including A Teams, Line Control, Fast and Friendly Checkout, Cash Management.
