Job summary

The HomeGoods team at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate to promote a highly-satisfied shopping experience and support frontline operations at the Tualatin store. You will train Associates on policies, operate registers, and help maintain storefront standards.

Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and a team-oriented mindset are essential. The role involves cash handling, customer service, and adherence to company policies across the store.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to train and provide direction to others.
• Experience in coordinating or retail supervisory roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a Highly-Satisfied customer experience
• Drives customer loyalty through programs and initiatives
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly
• Trains and mentors Associates on Policies and Procedures
• Provides recognition and feedback on cashier performance
• Maintains cash controls and change fund
• Assigns registers and coordinates breaks for coverage
• Maintains cleanliness and merchandising standards on frontlines
• Monitors frontline equipment and reports issues
• Supports company directives and loss-prevention policies
• Ensures safe store environment and handles damages/stock issues
