Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Coordinator to efficiently process customer sales transactions at the front registers and maintain cash controls while delivering outstanding service. You will assist customers, ensure accurate POS operations, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to multitask, with at least 2–3 years in retail and 1 year of management experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Greets customers and responds promptly to customer needs.
• Oversee accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and proper cash control.
• Provide friendly, energetic customer assistance and adhere to guidelines.
• Model exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Meet or exceed sales floor condition expectations in respective department.
• Promote a safe work environment.
