Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Coordinator team member to efficiently handle customer sales transactions at front registers with a friendly, energetic demeanor. You will help customers, safeguard company assets, and adhere to all procedural guidelines while supporting store operations.

Responsibilities include supervising checkout operations, ensuring accurate payments, maintaining clean checkout areas, and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Greets customers and responds promptly to needs.
• Oversees the accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or debit.
• Operates POS system and displays cost, tax and rebates.
• Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas and keeps personal items away.
• Assures completion of all POS transactions and cash control.
• Models fast, friendly customer service.
• Reviews customer feedback and acts on it.
• Prepares, stocks, and merchandises merchandise appropriately.
• Implements price changes and food safety compliance.
• Orders manual items and rotates stock.
• Ensures accurate pricing and maintained sale prices.
• Provides product consultations to customers.
• Executes ad set signage and compliance.
• Strives to meet or exceed sales floor expectations in department.
• Promotes a safe work environment.
• Maintains reliable attendance.
• Performs other daily tasks as required.
