Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Coordinator team member to efficiently process customer sales at front registers, maintain cash controls, ensure customer satisfaction, and safeguard assets. Friendly, energetic demeanor and adherence to procedures are required.

The role supports a fast-paced fresh-food environment and contributes to an engaging in-store experience. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of retail experience, and a plus for natural foods exposure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Greets customers and responds promptly to needs.
• Oversees accurate and efficient operation of cash registers.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or auto-debits.
• Operates cash register and displays costs, tax, and rebates.
• Maintains clean checkout areas and keeps area free of personal items.
• Ensures all POS transactions are completed and cash is properly controlled.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Reviews customer surveys and feedback.
• Prepares, stocks, and merchandises store displays.
• Ensures pricing and sale signs are up to date.
• Compliance with food safety standards and procedures.
• Ordering of manual items as needed.
• Stock rotation and merchandising facing products per procedures.
• Remove out-of-code products from sale.
• Provide consultation to customers regarding products.

Education
