Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent coverage of all Self Checkout activities ensuring all sales are accurately captured while providing unparalleled Guest service in a safe environment.
• Direct traffic flow for speedy checkout while ensuring Guest needs are met; assist cashiers as needed (overrides, questions).
• Create and manage daily schedules and control sheets for maximum efficiency and program compliance; plan breaks accordingly; monitor cash control procedures.
• Assist Front End Leader with auxiliary lines of business (gift cards, candy, etc).
• Take ownership of the Front End when the Front-End Leader is not on duty; act as point person.
• Ensure daily compliance activities (AML, scale/PIN pad checks, WIC).
• Order Front End supplies with cost awareness.
• Train and coach Front End Team Members on efficiencies, service culture, and loss prevention using tools like Cashier Coach Pad.
• Support Front End Leader with special projects or champion assignments.
