Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18

• Good training skills
• Strong supervision and coordination
• Good counting and math skills
• Ability to read and write to accurately complete all documentation
• Knowledge of Front-end operations and check stand procedures
• Knowledge of compliance and basic applicable contract/work rules
• Education: High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or additional job experience
• Experience: One year of Grocery/Retail experience minimum

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a remarkable shopping experience by training and holding store associates accountable for excellent service
• Manage front-end performance and productivity (tills, cash handling, EBT/WIC compliance)
• Direct Clerks and Clerks' Helpers focusing on accountability and business performance
• Ensure front-end and parking lot conditions (merchandising, floors, carts)
• Perform store balancing to enhance shopper experience
• Handle front-end management duties (refunds, loans, check authorizations)
• Monitor customer experience on front-end
• Occasionally manage total store operations in absence of store management
