Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Front End Lead role at our New Jersey location, overseeing frontline operations in the absence of the Front End Manager and coaching team members to deliver excellent member service. The position emphasizes membership programs, performance metrics, and efficient front-end operations.

The Front End Lead ensures member satisfaction, supports cash handling and POS processes, coaches staff, and aligns daily tasks with company standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred.
• Membership or sales knowledge and experience preferred.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the front line (including cashiers, SCO, and membership desk) in the absence of the Front End Manager.
• Models and provides excellent Member service, while coaching, teaching and developing team members to do the same.
• Drives membership metrics through acquisition, retention, loyalty and experience programs.
• Drives member engagement, speed, and productivity on the front end.
• Trains, coaches, motivates, recognizes, and provides input on evaluation of frontline Team Members on tasks, responsibilities and expectations defined by position.
