Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Front End Lead to supervise frontline staff in the absence of the Front End Manager and to coach and develop team members for optimal member service. You will drive membership metrics and ensure accurate POS operations while supporting a positive club experience.

Responsibilities include training, performance evaluation, and ensuring adherence to GOLD club standards, while maintaining a safe, efficient front-end environment.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience preferred.
• Prior Membership or sales knowledge and experience preferred.
• Prior cashier experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the front line in the absence of the Front End Manager and coach team members to deliver excellent Member service.
• Drive membership metrics through acquisition, retention, loyalty and experience programs.
• Perform front end responsibilities including closing through POS and handling member escalated service issues.
• Manage inventory checks, cashier operations, and payment processing to ensure accurate totals.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the front-of-club member servicing areas.
• Navigate system applications and manage workflow using the MyWork platform.
