Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) seeks a Front-End Lead to supervise front-end operations and coordinate front-end personnel. Proactively responds to customer issues and models the service behaviors expected of partners.

The role emphasizes training cashiers, ensuring compliance with safety, freshness, and cash handling procedures, and maintaining a clean, efficient front end to deliver great customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with two+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education.
• Must obtain HIPAA certification through Compan

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners, schedule, plan, assign, and direct work with upper management.
• Assist in training cashiers on policies, procedures, cash handling, and scanner use.
• Ensure freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation standards are met in front end operations.
• Provide checkout services, bag groceries, and maintain accurate register totals.
• Monitor front-end parking lot cleanliness and customer flow.
• Manage front-end shrink and monitor partner performance as needed.
• Deliver friendly, customer-service oriented interactions and respond to complaints.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work/shopping environment per safety procedures.
