Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking friendly front-end staff to perform cashier and customer service duties, ensuring accurate checkout totals and a clean, welcoming store environment. You will stock, display, and rotate products while assisting customers with questions and finding items.

Role requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced grocery setting, maintain safety standards, and operate equipment such as pallet jacks when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age required (for partners operating select machinery).
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Fuel Operator C certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items; maintain correct money count in register.
• Enforce quality control and food safety; rotate/stock dated products and assist with reorders.
• Unload trucks and place delivered items in designated areas.
• Maintain awareness of tender policies for checks, credit, debit, coupons, EBT, WIC, AML, etc.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with locating products; respond to complaints.
