Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced team and deliver outstanding customer service in Goleta, CA. The role focuses on supervising cashiers, maintaining store standards, and supporting operational efficiency on the front end.

You will participate in hiring and training, manage breaks in accordance with policy, and help handle customer issues while promoting a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior with the ability to interact as a role model.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork; ability to take direction and constructive criticism.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by visiting registers and guiding cashiers.
• Assist with customer issues at the register and monitor supplies.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and handle disciplinary steps.
• Maintain security visibility and ensure cleanliness in restrooms and parking areas.
