Job summary

Rural King Farm and Home Store in Kentucky is seeking a Front End Lead to supervise front-end operations and deliver exceptional customer service, leading front-end associates and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Responsibilities include training new associates, overseeing cashier transactions, coordinating with layaway, promoting loyalty programs, managing BOPIS, cash management, and loss prevention, while maintaining a professional store environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of retail cashier or retail supervisory experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Excellent communication skills to direct staff and serve customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Flexible with hours: 40-hour week with varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to front end operations and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee training for new front end associates and oversee their development.
• Oversee cashier transactions and customer service desk layaway transactions incl. monthly audits.
• Educate customers on loyalty programs such as RK Visa and RK Plus Protection Plan.
• Manage BOPIS processes and coordinate with associates to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Perform cash management, returns, exchanges, and price dispute resolutions.
• Assist with load outs and liaise with Outside Recover Associates for prompt responses.
• Maintain loss prevention by monitoring shrink and proper deactivation of security devices.
