Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Front End Lead to provide oversight and leadership to our front end operations. You will guide the front end associates, ensuring a seamless checkout experience and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include training new staff, overseeing cashier transactions and layaway activities, and promoting company programs such as loyalty initiatives and protection plans. A 40-hour weekly schedule is typical, with varied hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail cashier or retail supervisory experience or equivalent education.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to lead and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end operations and lead front end associates.
• Provide comprehensive training for new front end associates and oversee development.
• Oversee cashier transactions and customer service desk layaway transactions including monthly layaway audits.
• Guide cashiers on using cashier scripts and promote loyalty programs and RK protection plans.
• Support front-end efficiency by running a register when needed and manage tax-exempt plans.
