The role is a non-exempt management position focused on leadership, process improvement and daily front end operations in a grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail environments, preferably in grocery/retail front end.
• Knowledge of front end department operations, including merchandising and customer service.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Front End Manager in overseeing all areas of the department and staff.
• Train and coach staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain department conditions, signage, staffing and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, return procedures and inventory policies.
• Support scheduling, labor and margin goals with the department manager.
