Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Customer Service/Front End Dept Manager to lead frontline teams and elevate daily operations. You’ll drive onboarding, coaching, scheduling and customer service excellence, while owning budget and store performance metrics.

You’ll foster a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement, mentoring Leaders and Team Members to grow within Meijer and expand community impact in the Oak Creek store.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members to provide clear and precise direction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information to make informed decisions.
• Commitment to safe working practices and fostering an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and coaching for success.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing and leadership pipeline planning.
• Engages in candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversees area operations and financial results, including budget accountability.
• Drives safety, compliance, and store condition management.
• Guides Leaders and Team Members with daily work assignments and training needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
