Kroger Prescott store is seeking a Store Management/Front End Department Leader to deliver an outstanding customer experience, maintain a safe and clean environment, and achieve front-end performance goals. This on-site role requires directing day-to-day front-end operations and supervising associates to meet department sales and service targets.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Retail or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Second language proficiency (speaking, reading and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate information to associates.
• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to achieve store goals.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Monitor and control department expenses and cash items.
• Schedule Front-end associates to ensure adequate coverage.
• Assist management with budget, profit/loss reviews, and actions on financial reports.
• Develop and implement a department business plan to achieve results.
• Oversee entry-level store hiring.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Maintain inventory awareness and note discrepancies.
• Schedule price changes and advertise promotions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and report risks.
