Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking an Assistant Customer Experience Manager at our Odenton, MD location to lead front-end operations, coach associates, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for customers.

You will support the Customer Experience Manager, manage scheduling, enforce cash handling and AML/compliance rules, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and excellent service across the store.

Qualifications

• Supervises front-end associates and leads department operations.
• Knowledge of cash handling controls, loss prevention, and POS procedures.
• Experience training associates and conducting performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Promotes excellent customer relations and resolves customer concerns promptly.
• Oversees front-end operations in the manager's absence.
• Enforces cash handling controls and AML, tobacco, alcohol, and other sales rules.
• Trains and onboarding of customer experience associates and LMS training.
• Manages scheduling to meet weekly demand and labor targets.
• Ensures store safety, sanitation, and compliance with health and OSHA requirements.
• Operates checkout equipment and supports customer service calls.
• Maintains equipment and communicates promotions to cashiers.
