Qualifikationen

• Facilitate outstanding customer service and engage with shoppers.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently at the check lane.
• Have working knowledge of POS systems and tender types per store policy.
• Maintain composure in high paced environments and manage conflicts calmly.
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately at the check lane.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, SNAP, EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers as per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow coupon/gift card procedures.
• Stay current with ads and promotions and maintain food safety standards.
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Perform preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying when repairs are needed.
• Create a welcoming environment and answer questions about products in-store.
