Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Front-End Supervisor to oversee customer service, training, scheduling, and front-end operations at our Kutztown location. You will lead checkout teams, ensure policy compliance, and drive efficiency while maintaining a safe, productive environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of work experience or technical training, strong leadership and communication skills, and a dedication to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced retail setting.

• Has strong written and oral communication skills.
• Special skills include computer register systems, cash management systems, and computer usage.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties.
• Supervise all checkout cashiers, assist in checkouts, resolve customer issues, bag when needed, and open/close lanes based on customer load.
• Perform special store level projects as assigned by the assistant store manager of customer experience.
• Model exceptional customer service for all team members.
• Perform other duties related to front-end operations, customer service, team members, cash control, productivity, shrink, and food safety.
