Kroger in Richardson, TX is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers, process sales, and uphold Kroger's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity and safety.

Responsibilities include operating the register, handling refunds, maintaining the checkstand area, answering phones, and ensuring adherence to company policies and initiatives. This role supports lottery services and other desk functions as needed.

Competenze

• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends on a regular basis, shift flexibility and overtime as needed.

Mansioni

• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, complete tender transactions, bag merchandise, and know produce codes.
• Maintain checkstand area cleanliness to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and provide service at the Customer Service Desk.
• Comply with all corporate policies and promote company initiatives.
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated or removed at point of sale; respond to pedestal activations.
• Maintain store accounting functions and prepare bank deposits where applicable.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill pay, gift cards, and other customer transactions.
