Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Front End Associate in Fort Worth, TX to assist customers and process sales at the checkstand. You will perform cashier duties, handle tender transactions, and maintain a clean, organized checkstand area.

The role requires a minimum of six months cashier experience, the ability to work weekends and overtime, and a commitment to honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.

Qualifications

• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Minimum 18 years of age (19 in Idaho/19 in Alaska for tobacco sales).
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends on a regular basis, work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks and accuracy/attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales.
• Perform cashier functions including opening/closing register and tender transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area.
• Answer telephones and provide Lottery service where applicable.
• Open/close the Customer Service Desk and process refunds, exchanges, money orders, and transfers.
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated or removed, and respond to pedestal activations as needed.
• Support store accounting functions and banking deposits.
