Kroger Family of Companies in Richmond, TX is seeking a Customer Service Desk/Cashier to assist customers, process sales, and maintain register accuracy. You will handle refunds, money orders, and various desk duties while upholding Kroger’s values of respect, honesty, integrity, and safety.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, processing transactions, maintaining cleanliness, answering phones, and supporting store accounting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk
• Must be 18+ (19+ in some states) if tobacco is sold
• Pass a drug test
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work weekends, varying shifts and overtime
• Organize and prioritize tasks with accuracy

Responsabilités

• Deliver and promote excellent customer service
• Operate cashier functions and complete tender transactions
• Maintain price discrepancy logs
• Keep checkstand area clean
• Answer telephones and handle inquiries
• Follow corporate policies and initiatives
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated at POS
• Respond to EAS pedestal activations as needed
• Maintain store accounting functions and prepare cash deposits
• Open/close Customer Service Desk and process refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill pay, gift cards, and PO s
• Provide lottery service and fish & game licenses
• Manage lost and found and run vendor reports
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and handle conflicts professionally
