The Kroger Co. is seeking a customer-focused associate for our Richmond, TX location. You will assist customers, process sales, and help maintain a clean, efficient checkstand and service desk.

You’ll handle refunds, exchanges, and various transactions while upholding store policies. Responsibilities include operating the register, assisting with lottery where allowed, responding to inquiries, and supporting store initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Six months cashier experience at a customer service desk.
• Ability to pass a background/drug check.
• Willingness to work weekends and varied shifts.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers and process sales at the checkstand.
• Perform cashier duties: open/close register, ring sales, handle tender transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize the checkstand area.
• Answer phones and assist with store policies and promotions.
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and basic lottery/permits where applicable.
• Ensure Electronic Article Surveillance tags are deactivated as needed.
